About the Converting Process

A converting process can be performed using

• PDF Converter Assistant, or

• direct conversion.

Converting using the PDF Converter Assistant

1. Open source files to be converted in the PDF Converter Assistant

2. Preview file content if necessary

3. Define file order

4. Decide the processing mode and define the processing options

5. Select an output format and define the output options

6. Start the converting process

7. View the resulting file(s)

Converting using direct conversion

• Start conversion from Windows Explorer, Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes without using the PDF Converter Assistant, or use File > Open in Microsoft Word.

The conversion will be performed immediately using existing or pre-defined settings, and the converted, editable document will always be displayed in the target application.
