Opening Files from Integrated Programs
The PDF Converter button 
in the File toolbar in PDF Professional lets files be opened, either in the PDF Converter Assistant, or processed with direct conversions.
Additionally, files can be opened from the following locations, with the indicated functionality:

In Converter Assistant, you can open PDF or XPS files from the five supported Document Management Systems.
Your can also start PDF Converter inside a Document Management System, select a PDF or XPS from the DMS and convert it.
